Hello Everyone,


Welcome back! I hope you all are having a good first day of classes and enjoying the warmth (if not the rain). Regular events are starting back up this week, and small groups are coming soon! For those who haven’t found us yet, the Foundation building is located across from Mem Gym at the corner of Emmet Street and Lewis Mountain Road, and it is open from 9am – midnight every day. I can’t wait to see you around! Here’s what’s going on this week!


Sunday, January 13

11:00am – Worship at Wesley Memorial UMC.

2-4pm – Residential Community meeting


Monday, January 14

Deborah out for sermon preparation and study


Tuesday, January 15

Deborah out for continuing education event.


Wednesday, January 16

Deborah out for continuing education event.
Thursday, January 17

Deborah out for continuing education event.

6:00pm – Free home-cooked dinner in the Foundation dining room.

6:45pm – Forum: Deborah will be leading a discussion on the topic “Sabbath: Relic or Revolution?”


Saturday, January 19

8:30-10amService Project: We will be helping the folks at Wesley Mem set up for PACEM, a traveling homeless shelter that will be hosted at the church for about a week. A couple of nights during the week we will do visitation with the people who are staying there.

8:30pm – Movie Night: We will be watching a movie in the game room, a great opportunity to hang out with people you haven’t gotten to see for a month!


Sunday, January 20

11:00am – Worship at Wesley Memorial UMC.

5:00pm – Informal worship: Join us in the Foundation dining room for a worship service featuring our student-led music team and a message from our campus minister Deborah. Come as you are, dressed however you like!

February 3: Worship Troupe visit to Hinton Avenue UMC; Super Bowl event

February 8-10: Cookie Bake!
