I hope yall had a great time at kickoff and Tom Delucca if you went! If you couldn’t come because of rain or other plans or whatnot, totally ok!
One of the great things about Wesley is that we are not a club, we don’t have dues or a required number of events you have to attend. We just want you to have options (which as you see below, we have a lot, with more to come) and come when you can, and to what you want and however often you want. So if you missed us, we hope to see you this coming week. That being said….

Sunday, August 28
11 am — Worship at Wesley Memorial UMC.—There will be a picnic afterward provided by the congregation. Outside if it’s nice, downstairs in the fellowship hall if it’s raining.
5 pm — Informal Worship at the Wesley Foundation- There will also probably be a group going to dinner afterward.
Monday, August 29
12-2ish — Lunch at the Pav (Part I) –Meet in back room of Pavilion XI on the lower level of Newcomb. If you can’t make it at 12, that’s fine! Lunch will continue as long as people are there, so you can still come at 1 pm if you have class!
1-3pm– Deborah’s Drop-in Office Hours — Deborah would be happy to meet with you at other times/places! Email her at deborah AT wesleyatuva.org to arrange a meeting!
6:30pm—Faces of Faith 1—Small Group just for 1st years discussing issues pertaining to 1st years. Led by Kellen Hertz (kmh4fb) and Natalie Roper (nrr2bf). Meet in the Living Room.
8:00 pm — Methodists with Muscles — Meet in the gameroom for a short devotional before heading to some athletic activity. This week is sand volleyball, be sure to bring appropriate attire (or lack of attire if you are playing barefoot). Led by Patrick Ormond (pco8ec) and Annie Bailey (amb9um)
Tuesday, August 30
Deborah out of the office for sermon prep and study.
12:30-2ish — Lunch at the Pav (Part II) –Meet in back room of Pavilion XI on the lower level of Newcomb.
7:30—Praise, Prayer, Peace—Meet in the chapel for worship music, passing the peace, and praying for each other.
8:00pm—Faces of Faith 2—Small Group just for 1st years discussing issues pertaining to 1st years. Led by Stephen Sholden (sks6p) and Kelsey Green (klg4zy). Meet in the Living Room.
Wednesday, August 31
8:00pm–Grad and Beyond College Group—For those in grad school and recent college graduates. Led by Abel Yang(ajy6n) Meet in the Gameroom
Thursday, September 1
6:00 pm — FREE Dinner.
7:00pm—Forum—BIBLE CRANIUM!—Classic Cranium but with a biblical twist. Test your knowledge of Hymns, Wesley, Scripture and more!
Friday, September 2
7:00pm– Photo Scavenger Hunt—Meet at the Foundation and divide into teams. Bring cameras if you have them as the teams roam across Grounds to gather points by taking various types of wacky photos. A great, fun, COMPETITIVE way to learn your way around!
Saturday, September 3
First Football Game—Yes, we are bad at football, but hopefully we can wallop W&M(knock on wood). A group will be meeting at the Foundation at around 4pm to walk over and try and get good seats.
