This Week at Wesley…

Hi everyone!

Not all of our regular events have started up yet for the semester, but be on the lookout for more small groups and studies that will be added over the next week or so! Here’s what we have going on this week at Wesley:
Sunday, January 23

11 am — Worship at Wesley Memorial UMC

5 pm — Informal Worship at the Wesley Foundation — dinner on the town to follow!

Monday, January 24
12-2ish — Lunch at the Pav (Part I) —Meet in back room of Pavilion XI on the lower level of Newcomb. If you can’t make it at 12, that’s fine! Lunch will continue as long as people are there, so you can still come at 1 pm if you have class!
1 – 3 pm — Deborah’s drop-in office hours — Deborah will be holding her office hours during this time this semester, but she’d be happy to meet with you at another time! If you’d like to meet with Deborah, but can’t make it to her office hours, email her to meet at other times (deborahATwesleyatuva.org)

5:45-9:30ish pm — PACEM — Contact Nina Ruhter (nwr2e) if you’d like to volunteer with the homeless shelter being hosted by Wesley Memorial this week.

Tuesday, January 25

Deborah out of the office for sermon prep and study.

12:30-2ish — Lunch at the Pav (Part II) —Meet in back room of Pavilion XI on the lower level of Newcomb.

5:45-9:30ish pm — PACEM — Contact Nina Ruhter (nwr2e ) if you’d like to volunteer with the homeless shelter being hosted by Wesley Memorial this week.
8:30 pm — Methodists with Muscles —Meet in the game room of the Foundation at 8:30 pm for a short devotional before working out! Make sure you bring your student ID.

Wednesday, January 26

5:45-9:30ish pm — PACEM — Contact Nina Ruhter (nwr2e) if you’d like to volunteer with the homeless shelter being hosted by Wesley Memorial this week.
8 pm — Grad Group — Not just for graduate students! This group also welcomes recent graduates. Contact Amy Moses for more info (arm8h)
Thursday, January 27
6:00 pm — FREE Home-cooked dinner in the Foundation dining room
7 pm — Forum —
Interactive Parables: Conveying a Message, led by Melissa Holmes, Stephen Sholden, and Aaron Stiles

Friday, January 28
Leftovers — Drop by the Foundation for a lunch of leftovers from Thursday night dinner.

Saturday, January 29

7:30-9:30 am — Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser — Stop by Applebee’s on Rte. 29 and support the Wesley Foundation on Saturday morning! Breakfast costs only $5 for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage. All proceeds go straight to the Wesley Foundation, so bring lots of friends!
