Hey Wesleyanos,
I hope that you enjoyed your spring break! Those of us who were on Wesley’s Mission Trip to D.C. this week had an amazing time. We can’t wait to tell you all about it!
This edition of the Week at Wesley is the last that you will be receiving from me, as the new Wesley Foundation SCC President will be elected this Thursday. It has been such a blessing for me to serve this year. Words cannot express how much the community at the Wesley Foundation has meant to me these last 4 years. Thank you for being apart of it! To close, I wanted to offer you a piece of this week’s lectionary that I found particularly meaningful.
12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:12-14
As always, Let me know if you have any questions.
Hope to see you soon!
