Hello Wesley Foundation alumni and friends!
Homecoming at UVa is this Saturday, October 10th! There is a football game, of course (vs. Indiana, kickoff at 3:30), and we wanted to also welcome you home to the Wesley Foundation, just before the game.
What: Wesley Foundation at UVa Homecoming Open House
Where: In the Wesley Foundation building, 1908 Lewis Mt. Rd., across from Alumni Hall
When: Saturday, October 10, 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Who: All Wesley Foundation alumni, current students, administrative board members, and families of all of the above
There will be snacks and drinks available, to help fuel you for the epic Cavs vs. Hoosiers showdown. In addition, you’ll have a chance to see some old friends and meet some new ones.
Please RSVP to me by this Friday afternoon, so that we have an estimate of how much food and drink to buy!
SPECIAL PARKING NOTE: Because of all the football traffic, there will be no parking available at Wesley or even on the surrounding streets. We’d recommend that you find one of the UVa parking garages and plan on walking from there. The two closest parking garages to the Wesley Foundation are the Central Grounds Garage (where the UVa bookstore is), and the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage.
Here’s what UVa has to say about parking on game day:
Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you this Saturday! (Of course, even if you won’t be in C’ville this weekend, we’d still love to hear from you. If you have any news, big or small, send it to me, and/or Deborah Lewis, the director of the Foundation.)
