About Us

About Us

We look forward to welcoming new students each year and any time during the year. Unlike many student groups at UVA, Wesley is not a club. There are no sign-up dates. Wesley is a faith community, and the doors are always open.

Wesley is a community of people, but it’s also a place. We are located on the corner of Emmet Street and Lewis Mountain Road (across from Memorial Gym), and we open up the building from 8 am-9 pm (email us if you would like a pass to access it at other times) to give students a place to meet, study, talk with the campus minister, raid the kitchen’s leftovers, or pray in the chapel. You are welcome to make yourself at home here, and we hope you do.

We often partner in ministry with Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church (next door), and there are many opportunities for students to be involved in things like choir, handbells, and small groups at the church. The pastor and congregation of Wesley Memorial want to get to know you, and you’ll meet many Wesley Foundation students there on Sunday mornings.

Look around here and on Instagram and Facebook for more about who we are and what we do – and then come by and check it out. It’s never too late to stop in and give us a try. There is always a place for you here.
